Dampness, Moulds and Respiratory Disorders

Together with the researchers Gitte Juel Holst and Torben Sigsgaard from Aarhus University HouseTest investigates the connection between the occurrence of dampness and moulds in dwellings where the inhabitants suffer from asthma and respiratory disorders. The data show a more frequent prevalence of asthma and wheeze in buildings with a water damage, and so support the notion that dampness and moulds in buildings should be avoided.
